How booking a Ranthambore safari works
To book a Ranthambore safari with us, send your preferred dates, group size and whether you want a jeep (up to 6 guests) or a canter (up to 20 guests), and our team will confirm the options with you. Safari permits are issued by the Rajasthan Forest Department and slots in each zone are limited, so it helps to book 30 to 60 days ahead for the October to March peak season. If the portal is already full, see our last-minute booking guide.
Keep your ID and a passport-size photo ready: the permit is issued against the details you give at booking, and the same ID must be carried on the day. Hotel pick-up and drop is not included in safari-only pricing; our tour packages bundle transfers, hotel stay and safaris. For fees see safari prices, and for slots see safari timings. The full walkthrough, including Tatkal and foreign-guest booking, is in our safari booking guide.
